Anya is Assistant Professor in Law and Humanities at the University of Hong Kong, and is an award-winning teacher of college writing. She directs the combined B.A.&LL.B. Programme in the Faculties of Arts and Law, and is the founding director of the B.A.(Humanities and Digital Technologies) in the Faculty of Arts. Anya has taught English, creative writing and analytical writing at the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney, and Yale University, and has over 15 years’ experience as a tutor and teacher in English essay writing, school and college entrance applications, and language examinations.

Joe is a researcher and writer based in Chicago, Illinois.  He completed his Ph.D. at Yale University, and taught for many years in the Yale undergraduate writing program. He was a Junior Research Fellow at University College London at the Institute of Advanced Studies, and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Chicago. He is currently resident head of Dougan-Niklason House at Chicago, where he teaches in the writing-intensive Humanities sequence.
